Our Journey
The Pulaid was designed by Dick Saltonstall, Yachtmaster Instructor. First released in 1985 overseas, then in the U.K in the early nineties.

For over thirty years Pulaids have been found to be a valuable, quick learning/teaching aid for RYA and MCA training.

The Pulaids come in a nice plastic pouch, ideal to keep onboard any vessel as a quick reference guide.

By popular demand, the Pulaid has been re-released this year at the same price as in 1992 - namely £20 per set (not including postage and packaging).

Learning parts C and D of the IRPCS is a long task reading from books or from an app. The use of Pulaids is quick and time-saving just by dialling up the lights, shapes and sound signals, providing you with all the information you need to know, and also gives the rule number if you wish to refer to an app or a book.
